Labor Day Weekend

This was a long and enjoyable weekend for our little family. We especially liked the kickoff of college football. Most of the teams that we like won with the tragic exception of BYU who lost to Arizona by three points. Before the start of football we had a fun family walk and then took Olivia to a park new our house. She had fun swinging and running all over. She was a little apprehensive about the slide, but with a little help found it was fun. On Sunday we went to my parents ward which was our ward for a long time. It was really good to see so many old friends and reconnect with them. That was and is the best ward in the church in our opinion. Olivia slept through most of the Fast and Testimony meeting.

The evening was fun as we watched my beloved Florida State Seminoles beat their arch rivals the Miami Hurricanes. It was a fun filled day for us to share as a family and to do a big activity for Family Home Evening.
We then went down to Reed and Heather's for dinner. This was an enjoyable evening for all of us. On Monday, Livvy, Nat, and I went to Hogel Zoo. We went on a train ride, and saw all kinds of neat animals. We ran into some friends of ours up at the zoo, Erik Bruun, with his wife and daugther. It was fun to go around the zoo with them and see our daughters reactions to the animals.
