A Basketful of Feelings…

Last night, we had our Family Home Evening. We decided to teach Olivia about feelings. She was able to identify different faces that were happy, sad, scared, and angry. I talked to her about the reality that her feelings were wonderful and that happiness is the feeling that Heavenly Father wants us to experience all the time. Natalie talked to her about identifying and controlling her feelings.

It was a good evening and with some parental help, Olivia offered her first prayer. It was wonderful to hear and be a part of. We are needed to try to get the Stake Presidency to make an exception to meet with us so that we can get our Temple Recommends renewed. We need to do this in a hurry so that we can go to Russell and Katie’s sealing ceremony. The evening other than that was fine and enjoyable.
