We had family home evening last night, and it was wonderful. As usual, everyone had their assignment that they contributed to the night, and with the love and obedience being demonstrated in our home there was an outpouring of the Spirit. We learned about faith and the role that it played in saving the pioneers trapped by the harsh winter conditions. President Hinckley’s talk about faith was a wonderful lesson for us to study as a family (even though Olivia was distracting me throughout the entire lesson). Olivia enjoyed the coloring activity and was adorable throughout the night. She is the sunshine of our family.
