Tootheetina comes to call

If Olivia looses any more teeth she will be taking all her meals through a straw. She was very excited when Tootheetina (if you have never read Silverlicious you should) left her a note under her pillow. There is a story behind this missing front tooth. I will do my best not to drag on and on.

Okay.....Liv was at work with me and had disappeared for about 20 minutes. I thought she was up using Grandpa's computer to play games on PBS or nickjr.com. but she was in the bathroom. She had noticed her front tooth was ever so wiggly and she was determined to get it out. She emerged with a very bloody paper towel and a tooth that was being quite stubborn. I bet she spent at least 6 hours wiggling that thing back and forth. I tried to get her to do the floss trick, but she wouldn't pull hard enough. By the time we got home she had a massive snaggle tooth (thanks for the great term Kristin). Ryan said she needed to try the floss trick again, but I told her to use thread. As I wrapped the thread around her tooth Ryan signaled to me to just pull it out.....so I did. I wish I had a picture of the look of sheer anger she gave me. Of course, the tears came shortly after...and quite a bit of blood. The funniest thing is when Ry showed her the very bloody paper towel she busted up laughing. I'm glad she survived. (Total sarcasm there). And as a side note two days after this she lost another tooth on the bottom. This one came out while eating a PB and honey sandwich at school. Her new nickname is Toothless :) She is very happy that she looks like a real 2nd grader (one of her grandma's told her that).

Hope that wasn't too lengthy :)
