Whoopy, Spiders & Quilting

Kisses from Winston
Man oh man!!! Here we are again and not only do I have no idea where the weekend went, but it is already Wednesday. So without further ado, here is a little update on what's going on.

Last week Livvy developed a DEATHLY fear of spiders, also know as a phobia. She would wake up screaming in the middle of the night that she "had to get out of here! the spiders were getting her!" It was awful to watch her tremble and jump at every little shadow. For 3 nights she insisted on sleeping on the ottoman because it has no crevices for spiders to hide in. After many talks and two blessings she had two nights with only a night terror and then slept through the night last night. We are hoping this has past and we can start getting some more sleep.

I had to rearrange Livvy Lou's room so that no spiders can hide down the sides of her bed.

For Mother's Day we went and bought the fabric so I could start on the quilt for our bed, although I haven't yet started the one I bought to tie. :) The fabric is great and even my Gran was impressed by the few squares I had to show her on Sunday. I'm still loving quilting. This bedspread will probably take quite awhile to finish, but it will be so cute. Also for Mother's Day I received a beautiful necklace and earrings. I love them!!! Livvy also made me a card at the babysitter.

Daddy bought Livvy a whoopy cushion after she had a hard day. Oh the fun she has had making everyone sit on it. We thought we had hid it fairly well and then, TA DAH, Liv found it. But it does bring the cutest smile to her face and her laughter is very contagious.

Other than that, things are just going along as always. I just added the pictures for fun, I guess they kind of tie in, but whatever, pictures are always fun. (WOW what a run on sentence!!!!)

Sorry to hear Livvy was having such a hard time with the spiders. Aren't you just so happy to have the priesthood in your home. I"m always so greatful for those blessings.

Whoppi cushions, my boys would be laughing like crazy!

The way Winston is positioned in the picture where he is licking your face, I did a double take for a minute and thought "when did they get a hampster?" But then I saw the black part and read your caption and realized that it wasn't a hampster on your shoulder but a dog with his face up. I'm a nerd. - Heather
