Christmas was gone as fast as it came

WHOA!!!!! Where did Christmas go?
It came so fast and now it's gone.

Another 12 months 'til we sing our favorite song.

Presents were opened

Much fun was had

Taking down the tree kind of makes me sad.

We attended family parties

and ate and ate and ate

It was great to get together just to celebrate.

The season is ended

a new year is here

we'll stay up late and give a great cheer.

In eleven short months
It will all start again

and we look forward to it with a happy old grin.
