Easter Time

We have had a pretty good week, although I had the flu for most of it. We were all very thankful for answered prayers on Wednesday when we found out Brant's surgery went very well. It was kind of funny to have most of the family crammed into his little tiny hospital room to wish him well, but we made it work. Livvy was a little nervous about the "orange stuff" she could see on his head and neck so she would only blow him kisses from afar. She and Rylie had a great time making Grandma Jan walk them around the circle.

Friday Livvy stayed home to be mom's nurse. She was great to just watch movies with me and help when I needed a drink. She just loves to nurture people and it was nice to have her with me. When Dad got home from work we all napped a little bit and then went and got some movies. Olivia was glued to the T.V. while we watched Enchanted. She does love those princess stories. She also loved The Bee Movie. I think the whole family can almost quote the whole show, we have seen it AT LEAST 15 times.

Saturday we had fun going to the Rotary Easter Egg Hunt. Teri and Bristol were there and that made it extra fun for the kids. Olivia was a little hesitant at first, but it only took a second for her to jump right into the fun. She kept telling me that Grandpa Doug would be so excited she was helping him clean up the candy. We also did a little bit of yard work on Saturday. It was great to get some of the dead grass and plants taken care of.

Sunday morning we watched the He Is Risen cartoon we have. Livvy loves to tell us about Mary not being able to touch Jesus and how Jesus went up tot the sky, but he is going to come back. We had a great time at church with our ever active Sunbeam class. After church the Perkins family came over and we had a nice dinner and another egg hunt. Liv and Rylie had so much fun playing together. It was a really nice Easter Weekend.

Church was a little tiring for her this week.
