A Long Weekend…

We enjoyed a long and busy weekend. Friday night was enjoyable as we went on a date, Nat and I, to see National Treasure 2. We went with our friends Russ and Katie MacKay, and Natalie ran into Anna and Todd Kirby, some more of our friends. We both liked the movie, even if not a well as the first movie, and enjoyed the fact that this movie series is PG and ultra clean. Saturday we did the shopping thing. First we went and I got some new shoes on a great sale. We then went to Barnes and Noble and reloaded our library with new books. All of us were able to get a book that we wanted. Following grocery shopping, we made a night of it at home, watching television and reading our new books. Yesterday, we all came down with the flu. Olivia threw up a couple of times, I did once in my mouth, and Nat was down all day long. Because of the day we had yesterday, and it being a holiday tomorrow, we all got up and were chipper and in a great Monday mood. We sure have been blessed with so many things to enhance our lives. Our Heavenly Father and Redeemer are giving beyond measure, and loving beyond our understanding. Since today is a Monday, we are going to do a quick FHE tonight on the importance of gaining Divine help in reaching our New Year’s Resolutions and Goals.
